My greatest passion is dancing. I do K-pop choreography: It’s a mix of explosive energy and drama, where you get to experience an entire story in just three minutes. My band and I are rehearsing in Amsterdam, and we sometimes perform at small festivals. And at home, another devoted fan is waiting for me - my ginger cat, panci (pancake) LOL . I also love collecting lightsticks and rewatching old BTS performances while sipping cinnamon tea.

It seems the meaning lies not in a single grand goal, but in the little things scattered here and there. The moment when a difficult dance finally comes together during rehearsal. In the purring of a cat after a hard day. When you live in complete harmony with what you love, that in itself is the answer.

My name is Rita, I'm 18 years old, and I've been living in the Netherlands for the past three years. I dream of one day staging my own dance performance on a real stage - not a cover, but a story I came up with myself. And so that only my closest friends and family would be in the audience. I’d also like to adopt a second cat who can be friends with Panci, and together we can watch the tulips bloom outside the window.

And I also realized: A healthy relationship isn't about always being together, but about being free to be yourself. Don’t be afraid to say “I’m scared” or “I’m angry.” We're used to playing roles, but what we really want is just to be ourselves - without rehearsing. Just like in a good dance: It doesn't matter who takes the lead, as long as you're in sync with each other.
